I work alongside a team of assistants on a day to day basis. One of my assistants, Danielle Franklin is currently on maternity leave but will be retuning in September 2018. Danielle will return to work alongside me 4 days a week. Danielle has a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and has been with me since January 2015. Whist Danielle was at college she had a placement at my setting.

Alongside Danielle, Catherine Meredith–Wilks is also my assistant. She also used to be a childminder and has recently been working as a teaching assistant in a primary school. Catherine has a level 3 in home based childcare, level 3 in teaching & learning and a level 3 as a forest school leader. When Danielle returns from maternity leave Catherine is staying to continue working in the setting.

For cover my daughter Georgina Dovaston, works with us part time. Georgina has a foundation degree in children and young peoples practise. Georgina is also currently doing an Honours Degree at University in Health Community and Social care.

 

All assistants are registered to work from my setting, have current first aid and child protection training and are DBS checked.
